👋Just a reminder of a few things that emotions are not!

🙂There is no such thing as good, bad, right or wrong emotions. Some may feel more uncomfortable or unpleasant than others but all emotions are a normal part of being human and they’re there for a reason.

🙂Although they may feel confusing or like they’ve come from nowhere -there is always a reason we’re experiencing a certain emotion at a certain time. Working it out can be the tricky part!

🙂Emotions are temporary. All emotions will eventually pass and be replaced by another one. If we feel something for a long period of time then we call this a mood. Think of emotions like clouds in the sky, they will come and go and float past – some quicker than others. Sometimes there will be storms where all you can see is black clouds but the storm will always pass.

🙂Emotions are not something we always have to act on. We may have strong urges to do things based on our emotions but we can try to resist them. We may not have control over our emotions but we do have control of our behaviour and the way we react to them.
